I am a former elementary science teacher (currently Lead Museum Educator) who fell in love with the science of teaching math!
Prior to being a science teacher, I was a substitute or Traveling Teacher, who witnessed a lack of confidence in students when learning math. As someone who struggled with math growing up, this felt personal to me.
I created Traveling Teacher’s Toolbox to make math accessible to all students, especially those who think they aren’t smart enough. This process starts at a young age.
Although I offer resources for older elementary students, my focus is primarily on younger students in Pre-K through 2nd grade.
